Seriderm® Border is an adhesive wound dressing with 100% silk protein in the wound contact layer for accelerated wound healing.

This advanced wound dressing is waterproof and durable. It offers painless application and removal, and stays on for up to a week, for superior and reliable wound repair. It is also available as Seriderm® Ag Border, which combines the wound-healing benefits of Seriderm® Border with the antimicrobial action of silver ions.

Waterproof and Durable

Seriderm® Border is a waterproof and durable wound dressing with a conformable polyurethane film and a silicone adhesive that forms a secure seal around the wound without disturbing the wound-healing process. Additionally, it offers painless application and removal and stays on for up to a week, minimizing patient discomfort.

Faster Healing Powered By Silk

The novel silk-based composition of Seriderm®Border reduces inflammation in the woundbed, resulting in better vasculature and granulation tissue formation for expedited wound healing.

Moist Wound Healing Environment

Seriderm® Border can absorb >900% of its weight and maintains optimal moisture at the wound environment for accelerated healing, with a high moisture vapour transmission rate.

Prevents Wound Infections

Seriderm® Border creates a protective barrier against bacteria and contaminants. Additionally, Seriderm® Ag Border is designed for the sustained release of silver ions over 7 days, offering enhanced antimicrobial protection with minimal dressing changes.
